Cohesive promotion plan Dyson

I did this fictitious assignment from SintLucas. All three disciplines are combined in this assignment, product, spatial and media design. The assignment was to create an in-store presentation space for Dyson.

For the product assignment we were asked to make presentation furniture for a Dyson product. I chose a vacuum cleaner for this. I wanted to show the suction power of a Dyson vacuum cleaner. I did this with lines.

The different parts of the vacuum cleaner are on separate presentation furniture. In this way it is possible to zoom in on the parts and everything is clearly visible. The Dyson vacuum cleaner is central and as it were sucking the parts towards itself and thus making the vacuum cleaner complete. This again shows the suction power. The lines are in Dyson's theme colours. You can also see that the presentation furniture consists of straight shapes. I did this because Dyson is a very sleek brand. To make the bright colours of Dyson stand out better, I chose a black background.

For my media assignment I had to make an advertisement in a magazine. In the ad I wanted toshow the suction power and the Dyson colours again. All the footage had to be made by myself. In the photo studio I photographed two parts of a Dyson vacuum cleaner and then created the advertisement in Photoshop.



I created the space in the SketchUp program, here the product and media assignment come together.
